VoterSaurus is a product of Stewart Digital Affairs. We provide political email outreach tools for candidates and campaigns in California. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform at votersaurus.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and password. For campaign accounts, we also collect your campaign name, FPPC committee ID, and billing contact information.
Usage Data: We log district searches, count reports run, and feature usage to improve our service. This includes your IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
Voter Data: VoterSaurus uses publicly available California voter registration data provided by the California Secretary of State. We do not collect voter data from users — we provide access to public records.
Payment Information: Billing is processed through QuickBooks Online. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

4. Email Sending & Compliance
When you send email through VoterSaurus, all messages include the legally required FPPC disclaimer identifying the campaign sender and committee ID. All emails include an unsubscribe mechanism as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. We validate all email lists through ZeroBounce to maintain high deliverability and reduce bounce rates.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate the platform:
- SendGrid — for email delivery
- ZeroBounce — for email address validation
- QuickBooks Online — for billing and invoicing
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
6. Voter Data & Public Records
The voter registration data accessible through VoterSaurus is public information obtained from the California Secretary of State under California Elections Code. This data is used solely for political campaign purposes as permitted by law. We do not use voter data for commercial solicitation or non-political purposes.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your data. Email lists are validated and transmitted over encrypted connections.
8. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Email lists and campaign data are retained for 12 months after your last activity, after which they may be deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:
